I’m a lifelong student of Christian Science, the Bible-based scientific law of God discovered by Mary Baker Eddy. I took class instruction from Charles W. Ferris, C.S.B., in 1985. I became a Journal-listed practitioner at Annual Meeting 2015 after many years of informal practice. I’ve served my branch church as First Reader, Clerk, Reading Room Librarian, Technology Chairman, etc. (See Publications page for more.)
I grew up in Alaska with four brothers. This taught me about independence and resilience. I hold three degrees: Graduate Diamonds from Gemological Institute of America, Paralegal Studies from Chattanooga State, and Bachelor of Business from Covenant College. Since the mid-90s I’ve been in Chattanooga. I live on the lower brow of Signal Mountain with my husband Mike and cats Poshya and Cheeto.
In addition to my primary focus on spiritual study and healing, I enjoy miniatures, RVing, kayaking, and quilting. Volunteering has always been a component of my life. I served for years on an international non-profit board. In 2018 I graduated from the Chattanooga Police Department Volunteer Chaplain Academy, and provide a ministry of presence for officers and of calm for the public through ride-alongs and on-call duty.
